Whether you are restoring a family heirloom, tackling a flea market find, or simply interested in learning a new skill, this course will guide you through various techniques of modern and traditional upholstery. Designed for a mixed ability group, this class welcomes everyone – from complete beginners to those with some experience – in a friendly and supportive environment.
What You Will Learn:
- How to safely use upholstery tools and equipment
- How to upholster your piece using individual appropriate techniques required to bring it back to life
- How to comply with Fire Safety regulations
What To Bring:
- Item to work on (PLEASE NOTE: You will need to take it home after each session, as there are no storage facilities available)
- Top fabric and trimmings (once project is underway)
- Lunch (if you are combining morning and afternoon sessions)
